Project Director - Reproductive Rights Initiative

Location: New Delhi, Delhi

HRLN is seeking to recruit a senior person with expertise and experience in reproductive rights. The person should be well connected with NGOs, academics and experts in this area of work, have good writing skills, have the capacity to manage a team of lawyers and social activists working in different parts of India and be able to travel for trainings.

The work involves coordinating the drafting of public interest litigations (a degree in law is not necessary though it would be preferred), the holding of workshops, doing  fact findings, administration work relating to the project, fund raising and interaction with donors.

Work:

  • The issues covered are maternal mortality, child marriages, safe abortions, young peoples’ sexual and reproductive health and rights, quality of care, legal enforcement of entitlements and standards, coercive population policies and so on.

Salary etc.:

  • Commensurate with experience.
