Sixth Compliance Report by the State of Uttar Pradesh

Mohd. Haroon & others etc. Versus Union of India & another etc.





Mohd Haroon and others has filed a Petition against the Union of India & Others to compensate the affected Families.  By order dated 26.9.2013 passed by this Honble Court in the batch of petitions, the leading of which is Writ Petition (Crl.) no. 155 of2013, this Honble court was pass the following order as under: "The State of U.P is directed to respond the reliefs prayed for in the criminal miscellaneous petitions for intervention and directions as well as in the writ petitions. The State of U.P. is directed to file separate response and further steps taken for the welfare of the victims and their safe return to their homes. The State is also directed to furnish the details regarding criminal cases registered against the persons involved in the incident."

The Sixth Compliance Report is attached below in which State of U.P has replied what are the steps they have taken to provide relief and rehabilitation to those affected in the unfortunate communal riots and incidents of violence that took place in the state of Uttar Pradesh Month last
