harmitha a disabled lady had approached the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta owing to repeated instances of Harassment by some local miscreants. She resides in the house with her widowed mother. Upon approaching SLIC, she was aided to file a writ petition, where the police was directed to investigate in an impartial and fair manner. The Court was also pleased to direct the police to ensure the safety of the mother and daughter.
