Dalit Manavadhikar Kendra samiti v. State of Rajasthan & Ors (2015) 17 SCC 214
The instant writ petition came to be filed in the circumstances that Rajasthan state Human rights Commission has been without the Chairperson and secretary from the last five years or more and the Human Rights Courts were also not set up. There is also shortage of staff and no steps have been taken to fill the vacancies. The Court issued directions upon the Chairperson to ensure that state government complies with the submissions made in the court.
