Mani Prakash

Maharashtra Mani began litigation at High Court of Bombay, Mumbai and the National Green Tribunal Bench at Pune. Later she moved to practice at the High Court of Uttar Pradesh in Lucknow. Mani was able to successfully seek a direction from the High Court seeking the identification of wetlands in the State of Maharashtra, and until such point of time the protection of those that were identified by the Central government. Mani has also passionately argued for the setting up of at least 570 Homeless Shelters after having been appointed as Court Commissioner by the High Court to investigate into the condition of shelters for the homeless.
