Delhi Shalini is passionate about furthering the rights of persons with disabilities and works closely with individuals and organisations on disability rights. Shalini provided legal aid for under-trials in India’s largest central prison at Tihar in Delhi. She had obtained positive orders for several acid attack survivors, including enhanced compensations, full reimbursement of medical expenses, and employment with the state government. She also prosecuted on behalf of survivors of sexual violence in trial courts.
