Tapobrat litigates predominantly in the Trial Courts in Guwahati, Assam, taking up cases within the Criminal Justice Initiative and the Women's Justice Initiative. He also works with the High Court litigation team. Tapobrat is mentored by Advocate Debasmita Ghosh who leads the Assam unit of SLIC, and litigates at the High Court of Guwahati. He is also pursuing a part-time postgraduate degree in law.
