Petition matter wherein petitioner being the Transport company had challenged
the reinstatement of the respondent with back wages as driver of bus services
by the Kalyan Domivili Tarnsport Corporation in Maharashtra by the Labour court
as well as by the High court. As respondent was illegally terminated
from the service and was not duly paid for his services during his tenure.
Thus, respondent was asking of upholding the judgments given by the Lower
courts opposing plea field by the Transport corporation in the Supreme Court.
After hearing the matter Supreme Court granted some relief to the respondent and On 3.2.2020, Supreme
Court disposed off the matter and regularized work of the respondent
effectively from November 3rd 2018 with regular pay scale so that necessary benefits at the time of retirement can be availed by the respondent.
